Exhibit Designs Must Draw First Glance
You could be selling the worst product in the world and it is not the product that would get the potential customers to look your way, it is the exhibit design. How your trade show exhibit looks is how your customers will come to associate the product that you are promoting. A drab design will not cause curiosity; it can have an opposite affect on your product. The design of your exhibit will stay in the customer’s mind whether they visited your exhibit or not. To be successful in a trade show you must have an exhibit that is aesthetically pleasing and drives your message right home to customer.
For an exhibit to be exciting and draw the eyes of your potential clients, the latest architectural designs must be used to create an illusion that you are on the cutting edge of technology. Stainless steel and glass often give that illusion of a futuristic world that is there for the taking. Plastics in vibrant color also give the customer a feel that they are in exhibit that has taken the possibilities of technology to the man’s greatest limits. The exhibit sign must look like it does not belong in the presence of the other exhibits because it is a one of a kind presentation that overshadows all the rest.
A good trade show exhibit design usually uses modular pieces. These pieces can be designed and redesigned to meet the demands of a fickle audience or to blend with the theme of the trade show. The modular pieces can use graphics to grab the attention of the passerby and at the same time give information and statistics to why your product or service is the best they can find. You can change the modular design to meet space requirements or to best fit your audience’s needs. The modular can also be fitted to include desks and book racks so that your products can be properly displayed.
The exhibit design is a reflection of the manufacturer, but with the options of how you can manipulate that design is up to your imagination and your need. You can add to your exhibit design by including banners or video. Sometimes a visual video played in the background will draw a crowd. The videos can also keep a customer busy while you are waiting on another. Your imagination is the limit when choosing a display. The design should promote your product and at the same time create a visually appealing area in which your product or service can be displayed.

| Organizing Exhibit Displays |

Organizing Exhibit Displays
There are many factors that come into play whenever you are organizing your exhibit displays for trade shows. If you want to know how to construct powerful displays, there are several keys that you must stick with. However, many vendors that are attending a trade show do not understand how to accurately examine exhibit displays. Yet, organizing a powerful display is not as difficult as one might think – all it takes is a little creativity and an overall understanding of your target audience. Trade show exhibit displays are supposed to clearly reveal the main selling points of your products or services. However, many exhibit displays only halfway explain their products or services in an appropriate manner. Instead a lot of exhibits are more focused on making a bold statement, yet, throughout their search for unique designs they forget the actual purpose of exhibit displays. There is a method to being able to have powerful and edgy displays, while still clearly answering questions that your potential customers may have. While brainstorming for your exhibits, take into consideration how large your actual space may be. If you haven’t already purchased a trade show display booth rental space, you will need to actually map out how you want your exhibit displays to appear. By doing so, you will gain a better understanding of the space, and ultimately price, for your exhibits. Some vendors decide to go with the minimalistic approach to their exhibit displays, while this works with some target audiences, for others this will be extremely boring and cause them to move on to the other displays. If you want a guaranteed success at the trade show, make sure that your exhibit displays are interesting and interactive displays. This is important because if you actively involve the trade show goers with your product or service, then you will more than likely end the day with many sales, or at least, positive leads. Exhibit displays are more than just simply putting up posters and handing out flyers to potential customers, exhibit displays are made to excite and push those customers into purchasing your product or service. However, if you are planning on having exhibit displays that are not selling a service, but rather informing the public about various news and attractions around their area, then the exhibit displays must have an entirely different “vibe” to them altogether. These type of exhibits can be as interactive and multi-media driven as they want, since they are not selling a particular service, but rather information to the public of various types of announcements. No matter why you are setting up exhibit displays, as long as you are totally aware of the overall purpose and setting what you want your exhibit displays to have, then you will have a positive trade show experience. |

| What To Look For In A Trade Show Exhibit Rental |
|
 |
18 December 2007 |
If you are a new business and you are only testing what a trade show can do for you, you may want to go with an trade show exhibit rental instead of purchasing a display that might not be functional for all trade shows. Most trade shows are limited on space and you might have two hundred square feet at one show and then be pushed into twenty square feet the next. If you purchased a display model that was specific to size, you would be very limited to what you could do with that display. By using an exhibit rental, you can rent the display at each show that would fit that particular theme and space.
Most exhibit rental manufactures and renters offer a variety of exhibit designs that are not only pleasing to the eye, but offer an array of functions. The exhibits can stress aesthetic qualities that will attract customers to your area or they can offer practicality in terms of functionality and space. The renter can also offer a graphic support service that will help you tailor your ideas into pictures and words. The cost of an outside graphic designer alone would double the purchase price of owned trade show exhibit. The flexibility is gone if you own. By renting an exhibit rental you have the choice and the opportunity to change design and graphics.
Some rental companies will allow you to combine custom components for the exhibit rental with existing models. You can ask for a book rack to support literature on your product or ask for a desk to be apart of the exhibit so that you may have intimate, one on one conversations with your potential customers. The renter may even be so flexible as to add hands on, interactive features to your exhibit rental. This will allow your customers to interact with your product or information while you are dealing directly with another customer.
The biggest thing about rental versus owned is that you are not investing in an object that may not work for you. Cost is the bottom line of many small businesses and the cost of buying an exhibit out right and renting an exhibit is tremendous when weighing the benefits of both. Rentals are cheaper, more flexible, and more efficient as you figure out your strategy according to your resources at your next trade show. It is just like a car. Rent it, take it for a test drive, and then make a decision if it is right for you or not. |

| Using A Pop Up Display Booth Effectively |
|
 |
17 December 2007 |
Pop up display booths are very common and popular for trade shows. However, you can use them effectively to help gain attention to your product or service.
First you want to know what your budget is. There are many different kinds of pop up display booths and you want to know how much you can afford to spend. You can get a booth for a reasonable price but you can get very nice and attractive ones for a little higher cost.
With a pop up display you want to utilize every advertising accessory you can manage. For instance you still want to use banners, lighting, graphics and any materials that will enhance your product or service.
When setting up your pop up display booth, arrange it so it is easily visible to passing people and potential customers. You want to choose a simple yet attractive layout. If you have too many things displayed it might be too ‘busy’ and hard to understand just what you’re offering to the people.
Some companies offer LCD screens to apply to your pop up display booth. Consider this if your product or service fits. Show a demonstration video of your product or a video of how your service benefits people. This is a great attention-getter not to mention very classy and attractive.
You might also consider having random giveaways that compliment your service or product. We all know people love giveaways and are more likely to consider your product or service if a giveaway is involved. You could do a random drawing for a free trial of what you’re offering.
There are many different kinds of pop up display booths, letting you choose one you can customize and change on your own. Pick a booth that lets you easily update the graphics, colors, etc. If you want to keep a set pattern or look, you can have a company specially design it for you.
This might cost a little more but if you do not plan on changing it, you will still save money. It will also look very professional and attractive all thanks to you.
Selling or promoting a service or product is not always easy. You can make it easier by having an attractive and effective pop up display booth. When you finish setting up and you look at your final result, ask yourself this question ‘Would you be interested if you were the customer?”
If you can answer yes you know you have done a great job. If your answer is anything other than yes, you might want to reconsider your layout, etc. Luckily, pop up display booths are easy to change and set up as well as take with you to different trade shows. |

| How to Choose a Trade Show Display |
|
 |
27 November 2007 |
If you’re shopping for a trade show display and you’re feeling overwhelmed by your numerous options, you might want to take a moment to think about what you need your trade show display to do for you. Concentrating on your business needs, trade show venues, target audience and trade show details can help you choose the right display that will help you benefit the most from a trade show, convention or meeting.
We’re happy to work with you and listen to your needs to help choose the proper trade show display, and there are a few things you should know that will help us with this task. First, you will need to let us know what type of venue the trade show will take place in. This will help narrow your choices by giving us an idea of what size display you’ll need and what extras you will or will not be able to use. No matter how great a display is, it has to fit into the venue. This is a simple concept, but is sometimes overlooked.
Next, we’ll need to know about your target audience or who you think will be viewing the display. Even the display hardware itself can affect your audience in ways you might not have thought about. Thinking about what your audience will be looking for aesthetically can help you choose a great display.
And finally, we’d like to know if there are any extras you’ll need to have a great trade show display. Let us know if you’ll need counter space for presentations, extra storage for equipment, portability features, extra sturdiness or a quick set-up. We can help you find a display to meet your every need. |
